Find Out How

What’s going on?

Wow… I can’t believe I haven’t posted anything is quite a few weeks now! I’m back and back with lots of stuff and stories… So first, what have I been up to – a lot, here’s a quick list –

1. With the help  Podium VenturesJustin Nowak & I organized the Calgary’s first ever Startup Weekend on Apr 29th-May 1st! 20+ participants came out with 5 solid businesses and now we are working on second to be organized in October’11;

2. Spoke to a group of Tech Entrepreneurs at CTI about how to build business on a shoe-string budget. Also, speaking at a couple more events in June;

3. Started working with a C-suite executive in Oil & Gas, to break out of the 9-5 jail simply because he is tired of the mundane and would love to try something new and challenging. Started working with a middle management female executive who wants to break out the 9-5 jail and helping her build a lifestyle business where her three kids come in priority list before everything else;

4. Connected with lots of awesome entrepreneurs and masterminds so, lots of interviews and blog posts coming;

5. Finally gave in on the temptation to join the “daily deal” domain and now invested in a startup in that area. More on this on June 6th, 2011.

6. Worked with Rabbi Issamar to improve my business and marketing and he gave me a lot of homework, still working! so, stay tuned for some awesome changes to come.

7. Last but the most important update, enjoying the wait to 11.11.11 and all the pre-wedding craziness… Who’s the girl, you may ask? Click here
