Next Big Thing!! [Announcement]

Posted Under: Announcement, Entrepreneurship, Startup

Good morning everyone!! I’m excited to share this announcement with you. So, given the success we are having with the “Our Heroes” series of interviews with employee turned entrepreneur, folks who broke the 9-5 jail, we have decided to introduce a new series to feature startups and startup ideas.

Starting Monday, June 21st, 2010 “Next BIG Thing” will be a series to feature up and coming startups and startup ideas. Our feature would focus on – 1. what & why of the idea, 2. the number one challenge, and 3. area(s) they need help with. Our objective is to help these startups and ideas get the attention and assistance that they deserve and get the creative juices flowing for rest of our readers. This is an effort to help our fellow aspiring entrepreneurs with their “Next BIG Thing“.

If you’re interested in having your startup or idea featured under “Next Big Thing“, please email the answers to following questions, your bio (150 words or less) and a headshot at devesh[at]breakingthe9to5jail[dot]com

1. What’s the business idea and why YOU?

2. If you’re a startup, give us more details on operations, size, impact, and revenue? What is the number one challenge stopping you from growing to the level you want to see it at? OR

2. If this is a fantasy/ dream project and/or for any reason is not an existing startup, what’s the #1 challenge stopping you from starting?

3. How can one help you? Finance, networking, expertise, etc etc anything?

Important:

1. Please be as detailed as possible and write a paragraph for each question at the very least.

2. Please do NOT send your business plan or projections.

Success to all!!
